This is my first game jam game! I kept the scope small and had a lot of fun making it. I had a math test this week too, so I'm glad I could make the time to complete it :')

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Thank you so much for making the video and for the commentary and feedback!! Sorry for the late response hahaha It's also a little embarassing that the framing is off on your end :'), so it definitely shows I have a lot of room for improvement!

Really original idea and well executed as well. Kind of a peaceful game. As said below, I like the idea of scoping carefully and executing the chosen scope well. You even added the rays of light which is a really nice touch. Good concept, good game!

A few small ideas:

  • Change shaking to alternating left and right, I think that feels more natural
  • Implement some sort of goals to work towards
  • Make the punishment of catching bugs more severe

Thank you so much for playing and giving the nice suggestions! I will be keeping them in mind :D

Art style is really good and aesthetic. Your game is simple but well package in terms of art, music and gameplay. Congrats !

Thank you so much for the comment! I'm so happy I was able to achieve that effect! :D

Super calming game, I love the art, and really like the lighting. I agree with making the game progress in difficulty, and perhaps allowing the deer to hold more flowers at once. I kind of wanted to make a huge cluster of flowers lol

Lol agreed! I will up the antler flower capacity in an update hahaha

This game was honestly therapeutic. Calming music, great art. I thoroughly enjoyed the aesthetic and feel!

Thank you for the compliments! I'm so glad you like it! :D

5640! (After I sabotaged myself). I agree with the upping difficulty, but maybe separating into two difficulties. I'm sure this game fares well as a relaxing game, so maybe keep this difficulty but add a harder obstacle, or up the frequency, etc. unless you want to keep it as a game jam game. I rated five under consideration of the time-frame, and the awe-inspiring atmosphere.

Thank you so much for playing and giving such helpful feedback! I will definitely keep all of that in mind.

Fun and cute little game! I wonder how the deer can hold so many flowers :O

HaHahaha! It's the spring magic ;)

A cute game! I really like the idea that the flowers would hang on the antler. I actually hope if they can stay their longer and you kind of have a huge antler, which might make the later game harder. I know you want to keep it simple but after playing a while it's getting a little bored, so maybe add the amount of pests or increase the dropping speed?

I have to say the branch and pest are a little hard to distinguish lol. But the flowers are cute and I like the shadow when they are rotating.

Thank you so much for the insight and feedback! I will take that into account for an update!

I agree with this comment, increasing difficulty would be nice! I liked the game, the art and the atmosphere. But I think it's more rewarding when the challenge goes up a little more over time :)
